Villa Erba

Cernobbio is one of the most important Lake Como villas. It was built between 7894 and 7898, designed by the architects Angelo Savoldi and Giovannni Battista Borsani. The client was Luigi Erba, brother and heir of Carlo, one of the leading pharmaceutical industrialists of the time. There are trees over 500 years old in the park.
