Villa Olmo

A building of the monumental dimensions. punctuated by columns depicting, Socrates, Plato, Pythagoras. the villa takes its name from an ancient elm forest. the first building dates back to the 12th century. the current villa was built in 1790, was a private residence until 1925 when it was acquired by the municipality of Como. now it is a museum.
